Margining Controllers

Analog Devices margining controllers are precise (±0.4%), resistor programmable, and configurable for the symmetrical margining of two power supplies or the asymmetrical margining of a single power supply. When testing power supplies in automated PCB test environments, these devices allow power supply output voltages to be precisely adjusted up and down by sourcing or sinking current into the feedback node or voltage adjust pin of a power supply. This allows systems to test the correct operation of electrical components at the upper and/or lower power supply voltage limits specified for a given design.
