Demonstration circuit 1622A is a dual 150mA linear regulator featuring the LT3032. The LT3032 is a dual, positive and negative low dropout linear regulator. Each regulator supplies up to 150mA of output current with a typical 300mV dropout voltage. Each regulator’s quiescent current is low (<3μA total in shutdown) and well-controlled in dropout, making it an excellent choice for battery-powered circuits. A 0.01μF bypass capacitor to each regulator reduces output voltage noise to 20μVRMS (positive regulator)/30μVRMS (negative regulator) over a 10Hz to 100kHz bandwidth. The LT3032 is stable with minimum output capacitor of 2.2μF. The regulators do not require any additional ESR. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse output protection, current limiting and thermal limiting. Each regulator is offered as an adjustable output device with an output voltage range down to the ±1.22V reference voltages.

The ADMX1001 is an ultra-low distortion sinewave and high-resolution arbitrary waveform generator with an acquisition channel. This high-performance module demonstrates a proprietary digital pre-distortion algorithm that reduces signal distortion below levels that can be achieved with high-performance digital-to-analog converters (DAC) and amplifiers alone. Its differential output can be set to common-mode levels often required to test high-performance analog-to-digital converters (ADC), audio codecs, and other audio ICs and systems. The signal generator and the acquisition channel can be individually controlled using separate, easy to use, SPI interfaces - combined with the module's small-form factor, the ADMX1001 can be easily embedded into test systems, or simply used on the bench for measurement and characterization.
