Product Details

Evaluation board EVAL-LT8673-AZ is an active rectifier with reverse protection featuring the LT8673. It includes two low I_Q comparators with programmable glitch rejection filters and input voltage monitoring protection. The demo board is designed for 5A load current. The input voltage range of the LT8673 is –40V to +42V. Two clamping diodes at the input side are used on the board to protect the IC from overvoltage spikes at the input, thus limiting the application’s DC input voltage range to –15V and +35V.

The two low I_Q comparators are used for detecting cold crank and filtering short pulses. Two voltage monitoring protection pins can sense the battery voltage safely and provide clean, glitch-free signal to the ADC (analog-to-digital converter).
