Unregulated Doubling/Inverting Charge Pumps

Analog Devices’ family of unregulated doubling/inverting charge pumps are used to either boost/double or invert an input voltage to an unregulated output voltage. By eliminating the inductor, these switched capacitor converters offer a small solution footprint and a simpler design than conventional inductive switchers. Key features include low quiescent current, multimode operation with automatic mode switching to maintain regulation, Iout up to 500mA, low noise constant frequency operation, Burst Mode® operation, overtemperature, fault and short-circuit protection.
