Virtual Immersion: Get Lost in a 360 Degree Sound Experience

    2023年02月08日

Get multi-channel audio on stereo speakers using Virtual Immersion using classic Cross Talk Cancellation in a very cost-effective system.

The demo renders Dolby Atmos or DTS:X to a 12-channel audio output and converts it to a binaural audio which then passes through the crosstalk cancelation routine.

Work is in progress to use a TOF camera that will track users and deliver personalized binaural audio by shifting the sweet spot. An external vision processor will run vision processing on IR camera data and feed the user metadata to the Audio processing engines running on ADI SHARC.

The IP has been implemented in collaboration with SUPSI (A Swiss University) and Weiss Engineering.
