The MAX15159 evaluation kit (EV kit) provides a proven design to evaluate the MAX15159, a high-voltage multiphase boost/flyback controller with enhanced low-side MOSFET gate driver capability, designed to support single-phase, dual-phase, triple-phase, or quad-phase boost/flyback configuration.

The EV kit operates from a 40V to 60V input voltage range and provides a default 54V output voltage while the output voltage is configurable by changing the resistor-divider at FB pin or by using an external REFIN input voltage in the range of 1.5V to 2.2V. The EV kit uses the MAX15159 on a proven six-layer PCB design. The EV kit also features an onboard RCD circuit to provide a 10V supply voltage to the MAX15159. Two MAX15159 EV kits are required for triple-phase or quad-phase operation.
