    The MAX33042E shield is a fully assembled and tested printed circuit board (PCB) that demonstrates the functionality of the MAX33042E controller area network (CAN) transceiver with ±40V fault protection, extended ±25V common-mode input range, and ±40kV ESD human body model (HBM). The shield features a digital isolator, which is used as a level translator between the CAN transceiver and the controller interface.
