Gesture Sensors

Gesture sensors using infrared-based dynamic optical sensors are able to sense a broad range of gestures at extended distances. The most recent generations of high performance gesture sensors from Analog Devices detect a wider proximity of movement and double the sensing range to 40 cm when compared to earlier generations, all in a quarter of the size and at 10× lower cost than time of flight (ToF) camera-based systems in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.
