PoE Power Forwarding

In this video we demonstrate the possibility of forwarding PoE power based on the new IEEE 802.3bt standard which allows for up to 71W at the PD input. Since the PD may not require the full 71W, the “unused” power can be forwarded by the PD to other devices. The demo was built in a PoE daisy chain topology made by two forwarders –separated by 100m ethernet cable- and multiple end equipment.
