The HMC392A is a GaAs MMIC Low Noise Amplifier die which operates between 3.5 and 7.0 GHz. The amplifier provides 17.2 dB of gain, 1.7 dB noise figure, and 32.5 dBm IP3 from a +5V supply voltage. The HMC392A has six bonding adjustment options which allow the user to select the bias point and output power of the device (+10 to +19.7 dBm). The HMC392A amplifier can easily be integrated into Multi-Chip-Modules (MCMs) due to its small (1.3 mm2) size. All data is with the chip in a 50 Ohm test fixture connected via 0.025mm (1 mil) diameter wire bonds of minimal length 0.31mm (12 mils).
Applications
• Point-to-Point Radios
• VSAT
• LO Driver for HMC Mixers
• Military EW, ECM, C3I
• Space

Tools & Simulations
S-Parameter 1
Sys-Parameter Models for Keysight Genesys
Sys-Parameter models contain behavioral parameters, such as P1dB, IP3, gain, noise figure and return loss, which describe nonlinear and linear characteristics of a device.
Open ToolADIsimRF
ADIsimRF is an easy-to-use RF signal chain calculator. Cascaded gain, noise, distortion and power consumption can be calculated, plotted and exported for signal chains with up to 50 stages. ADIsimRF also includes an extensive data base of device models for ADI’s RF and mixed signal components.
