Product Details

The TMC5130-EVAL allows you to explore all functions of the TMC5130A-TA using ADI Trinamic's TMCL-IDE.

The TMC5130-EVAL-KIT is a set of one MCU board Landungsbruecke, an Eselsbruecke bridge board and one TMC5130-EVAL driver board. It allows for a quick and simple start within only minutes to make your motor turning while still providing full access to all registers and full functionality and diagnostics.

For diagnosis, all signals between MCU and TMC5130 are accessible with probes on the Eselsbruecke bridge board. To simplify the transfer to your own processor platform the MCU board can be disconnected.

All you need to get started is a power supply and ADI Trinamic's free and easy to use TMCL-IDE. This graphical user interface allows quick setup and supports the use of commands in direct mode, monitors real-time behavior visualized in graphs, and logs and stores data. All settings can simply be exported for your own firmware project.

OBSOLETE: Evaluation Board for TRAMS

Product Details

This evaluation board is obsolete and no longer recommended.

ADI Trinamic's TRAMS 3D Printer Shield is designed to improve the performance and acoustics of standard fdm printers like the popular Prusa I3. It supports 4 stepper motors, a heatbed, one extruder and one regulated fan.

With the integrated ramp controllers of TMC5130, TRAMS allows for higher microstep resolutions, higher speed and less noise with the standard Arduino 8-Bit MCU.

TRAMS works together with one Arduino Mega and a modified Marlin firmware, so it can be used with standard G-Code senders as repetier host.
