Regulated Step-Up Charge Pumps

Analog Devices’ family of regulated step-up charge pumps are used to step-up or boost an input voltage to a higher-level regulated output voltage. By eliminating the inductor, these switched capacitor converters offer a small solution footprint and a simple design than conventional inductive switchers. Key features include low quiescent current, multimode operation with automatic mode switching to maintain regulation, I_out up to 500mA, low noise constant frequency operation, Burst Mode^® operation, overtemperature, fault and short-circuit protection.
