Excursion and thermal limits typically define the speaker power rating but that only matters if you can’t protect against overtemperature or overexcursion. IV-sense + DSM algorithm excursion and thermal protection pushes beyond speaker power rating for up to a 2.5× SPL increase and significantly deeper bass.
