This video introduces and describes the components inside of the "QUAD MxFE" prototyping platform. The "QUAD MxFE" is a 16Tx/16Rx phased-array prototyping & development platform that has 3 board variants that cover frequencies between DC and 6GHz. The backbone of the platform is the AD9081 and AD9082 depending on the variant and comes with a complete reference architecture for RF, power, clocking, and control. The platform includes a number of components to aid in demonstration purposes. The platform mates to a VCU118 Xilinx FPGA evaluation board and ADI provides a complete software reference stack to enable data capture/transmit through MATLAB.
