Product Details

Demonstration circuits 721A-A and 721A-B are high current step-down converters for Intel VRM/VRD10 and VRM9 processor power applications. The 6-phase DC721A-A features two current-mode PolyPhaseTM controllers, the LTC3738CUHF (3-Phase Buck Controller for Intel VRM9/VRM10 with Active Voltage Positioning and the the LTC3731CUH (3-Phase, 600kHz, Synchronous Buck Switching Regulator Controller) and provides up to 120A output current. The input voltage is from 8V to 14V and the output voltage is controlled by the VID setting.

LTC3731CG | 3-Phase, VIN = 9V to 14V, VOUT = 2.5V/1.8V @ 60A

Product Details

Demonstration circuit 438 is a triple phase, single output synchronous buck converter featuring the LTC3731CG. This circuit can be used for desktop computers and servers, notebook computers and other high output current DC/DC converters. The output voltage can be configured for either 2.5V or 1.8V and the maximum load current is 60A. The input voltage range of DC438 is 9V to 14V.

Product Details

Demonstration circuit 561 is a high current stepdown PolyPhaseTM converter featuring the LTC3731 three-phase synchronous buck controller. The input voltage is from 10V to 14V and output is 1.5V. DC561A-A can provide up to 180A output current with a 12-phase buck circuit, while DC561A-B is a 6-phase buck converter with up to 90A output current. An optional VID controller circuit is available on both DC561A-A and DC561A-B demo circuits for output voltage programming.
