14-Bit, 80 MSPS Analog to Digital Converter is now available as a Standard Microcircuit Drawing (SMD). The 5962-0423001QXC is a high-speed, high-performance monolithic 14-bit ADC, which is 100% production tested at 70 MHz and 150MHz at -35°C to +85°C case temperature. Units are available in a thermally enhanced 52-lead hermetic ceramic QFP package. The 5962-0423001QXC provides CMOS-compatible digital outputs and is pin-compatible with the commercial AD6645-80.
The 5962-0423001QXC is useful in single and multi-channel/multi-mode digital receivers designed for use in wide channel-bandwidth systems. The high bandwidth and high sample rate support a wide range of input IF frequencies, and eases the burden placed on multimode digital receivers that are typically limited by the ADC. Noise performance is exceptional. The device is an extension of the core technology found in the AD664X family of high-performance converters.
