SPS 2024: The Industrial Network of the Future

2025-03-10

The industrial network of the future, featuring seamless industrial connectivity, is here. To fully enable the smart digital factory powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning, factories require ubiquitous access to data. Convergence between operational technology and information technology networks is required. This video highlights how enabling technologies from ADI help to remove data islands, standardize security, and increase available network bandwidth. 10BASE-T1L and T1S enable Ethernet access right to the sensor edge in industrial settings. While the new 6-port TSN enabled Ethernet switch has 6 open MAC ports, allowing use of any PHY type and speed on any port, supporting hybrid networks of point to point, line, ring and multi drop Ethernet sensors at the factory edge.

Together, ADI’s TSN switch, single pair Ethernet products, IO-Link and software configurable I/O technologies enable our customers to gather more data from the industrial edge, allowing for more efficient and smarter manufacturing solutions.
