      1. RH3083 , Absolute Maximum Ratings, IN Pin Voltage (is it 18 volts or 23 volts)?

        The data sheet, on page 1 says that the Absolute Maximum Rating for the IN Pin voltage is: "No Overload or Short-Circuit .................... 23V, ...." Right above that line in the data sheet it says : "IN Pin Voltage .................. 18V, ..............." I am not sure how to interpret these two specifciation . Ken

        Can the Vctl pin on the RH3080 be used as an On/Off, or output enable control, with Vin constantly applied? Would like to use this to support a power sequence control function.

        Hello, You can simulate your control scheme on the circuit on LTSpice with LT3080. For a quick check, I tried connecting the Vctrl pin to GND and it gave a 0V output and connecting it to Vin gives a 1V output. Regards, Jhun

        Do the RH3080MK and LT3080 use the same die? I am mainly trying to determine whether the LT3080 would exhibit similar radiation performance. Thanks in advance.

        My guess is that the LT3045 will have the same reliability whether it is powered or not when exposed to radiation. I took a quick look at the SEE report for the RH3080, and I could not see any extreme behavior for that part that occurred during the radiation testing …
