I am redesigning a product I made almost 12 years ago that uses the quad OP484FS op-amp for a High Voltage / High Current Power metering front end. I am hoping to find something that is potentially better or as good but LESS expensive. My primary concerns are linearity, SNR …

Dale The ADA4084-2 is expected to be a little lower in price than the OP284. Final prices will be set when the product is released in a few weeks. Please check back with us, or at our website http://www.analog.com/en/precision-op-amps/precision-rail-to …

Dale, I'm the apps guy, so I don't know much about proposed pricing, but the OP284 is on an older bipolar process with single layer metal, and the ADA4084-2 is on a much newer process with dual layer metal, so I would guess it would be at …

Dale, Your timing is pretty good. We are scheduled to release the ADA4084-2, which is a second generation OP284, in the next two weeks. The quad is due out next year. It is about 10 MHz and less than 1 mA. If you are doing precision signal processing and …

Thank you for the quick reply. I am not sure if the input to an AD1974 is a heavy load, however I believe it does have a 14k ohm input impedance which would draw .23 ma at 3.3v as a quick guess. Do you have any idea on the …
