      … remove the Transistor,the Voltage on Vref+Cref reads almost equal to AVdd. Now,ADUC831BS manual states the bandgap reference of 2.5V is internal. But by above, it appears that NTC of a normal BJT needs to be connected to ADUC831BS for realising 2.5V reference. Which is true ?

      Hi, The internal band gap don't need a transistor to output 2.5V at VREF. If you plan to use the internal 2.5V for use external circuitry, use Cref but make sure to add buffer in it. I have the diagram below for proper use of internal 2 …

      Hi, If I understood correctly, your VREF and CREF are connected together? VREF and CREF should not be connected together. Please refer to datasheet on this link (Page 23) to see the proper connections on VREF and CREF pins -Mark
