        The EVAL-ADE9000-Shield kit (UG-1170) has a ADUM6404ARIZ IC (U2) with VDD1 = 5V and VISO = 5V. The bpard kit has two SN74LV4T125PWR ICs traslators: U3 from 3.3V signals to 5V signals, and U6 from 5V signals to 3.3 V signals. To a similar design with the …

So then do we need to use five each ADUM4151BRIZ and ADUM6404ARIZ for each five ADE9000 chip? For ADE9000, i have doubt of can we connect Rogowski & CT to the same circuit by removing burden resistors Also in delta connection, there is no neutral line.

… you think this could be the case? Thanks a lot for your contribution, Best regards, Markus Dear Brian The marking on both failed ICs is: ADUM6404CRWZ #1051 2016 782.1 I assume 1051 is the datecode (not shown in the datasheet), correct? For our customer we really need a written …

We had to make some component substitutions and PCB layout changes due to the supply chain issues, and due to lack of availability, substituted the ADUM5402ARWZ we have been using successfully for years with ADUM6402CRWZ. We did have to make small adjustment to the Viso pin PCB layout connections, but …

hey' i use ADuM6403CRWZ to isolate spi signals, its work good for 4Mhz spi rate but for 10 Mhz its miss 1 bit. when i remove the isolator its work good for 10 Mhz. this version of the chip need to be good for 25Mbps why its not good for …

After further checking, we have identified some soldering process issues on a DFN-style module that is either causing shorts & loading down some of the Vdd and a 3.3V net connections, or another soldering issue under a BGA part causing opens and resulting in high impedance connections on another …

There are no other significant differences between the ADuM5402 and ADuM6402 other than the VDDL pin that would produce the operation as described, it does appear to be sensitive to some other system related line or load sequencing event. Please feel free to reach out to me directly for additional …

The circuit layout and provisions to accommodate both parts is good. In general it is best to have the 100nF capacitors on VDD, VL and VISO placed as close to the pins as possible with the shortest loop distance. With this in mind minor improvements could be made by rotating …

… and glitches on the data channel pins. Maybe there is a PCB fabrication or other assembly issue - I will start removing parts to see if I can find a source other than the ADUM6402 itself. Before 100nF - Pin#7 voltage with 15mm jumper wire to +5Vdd on ADUM6402CRWZ: After 100nF
