    5. EVAL-AD5666
      Evaluation Board & Kit
The AD5666 evaluation board (EVALAD5666SDZ) is designed to help customers quickly prototype new AD5666 circuits and reduce design time. The AD5666 operates from a single supply. The board populates the AD5666BRUZ-2, which has a 2.5 V, 5 ppm/°C reference, giving a full-scale output of 5 V. Additionally, the board populates 2.5 V and 5 V external references, giving a full-scale output of 2.5 V and 5 V, respectively …

I am planning to use DigiPot AD5263BRUZ20 ( Digital Potentiometer IC Quad 8-Bit I2C) in my H/W setup for gain setting. Earlier it has 4 potentiometer in design (not digital pot), now I want to replace it with Digipot. Each digipot (out of 4) will be having different resistance …

Dear All, I planned to use AD5262BRUZ20 digital pot in potential divider mode, As per datasheet the Resistor non linearity is +/-30% tolerance in Rheo state mode, the same tolerance is applicable for potentio meter mode. Kindly suggest me what will be tolerance in Potential divider mode. With regards, Selvakumar …

Hi Vaibhav, 1. Yes, the settings for each potentiometer are independently set. The RDAC channel is selected with the A1 & A0 bits of the data word. 2. Yes, all the potentiometer can be active at the same time with their value setting. 3. Only the AD5263 is a quad channel …

Hi, If you use the digiPOT in potentiometer mode, you will have two resistances Resistance between A and W (RAW) Resistance between W and B (RWB) Both resistances will have the exact same tolerance (its the same resistor split in two) so the resistance is ratiometric. Tolerance is not a …

Hi, if i considered is 0 % tolerance + 35 ppm at full scale i can get 4.11122V to 4.11159V. If i considered the tolerance of the digipot at full scale 30% means i get the voltage 3.818V to 4.288V. What will be the exact output in potentio …

Hi, I recommend reading the "RDAC structure" & "Rheostat Operation" section of the datasheet for the full details but essentially it is the resistance selected by the RDAC code + wiper resistance. So 256 is fullscale, that means you will measure 10.150KOhm. Note that there is also temperature coefficients with the …

… it applicable for all production units of AD5262BRUZ20 or Each time i need to change the step in digipot to compensate any variation in the digital pot resistance. Could you please tell me, what will be the maximum resistance with tolerance at 256th step in the AD5262BRUZ20. With regards, selvakumar

Hi, In potentiometer mode, the resistance is ratiometric so, you should not really worry about the tolerance. Regards, Miguel
