On the ADG441/2 devices pin 12 is an NC pin. On the ADG444 it's required to be connected to +5V. ADG441/2 have a lower resistance cousin, the ADG451/2 parts; I use either, depending on needs. Well... in these days of parts shortages, I may need to …

Hello ADI team. My customer is considering to use ADG441 and trying to input analog voltage exceed the analog signal range. If it is not exceed ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM RATINGS, is ADG441 not broken? (Of course, it is disobey the datasheet specification, so it goes out of specification range.) Is my …

I am having trouble getting the ADG441 to work properly and want to confirm that my setup is correct. To test the chip, I made the following connections: analog ground/0v to GND -9v to Vss +9v to Vdd 0.5v 1KHz sine wave to S1 Logic input of 0v …

        Switches/Multiplexers
QuestionDo we have alternate parts to replace it ?AnswerThe suggested replacement for the ADG408TQ is the ADG1408SRU-EP - this is qualified for military and aerospace applications, has lower on resistance(4.5 ohms), and is in a TSSOP package. This is not a pin-for-pin replacement.Feedback: NO

Hi, I checked the bonding diagrams and I can confirm that pin 12 of the ADG441 and ADG442 are not internally connected. You should be okay to put +5 V to this pin. Yours sincerely, Igor Ono

Hi Ishino, The ADG441 is only specified for signals from Vss to Vdd. If the input signal goes below Vss or above Vdd you are in an over voltage situation and you will forward bias the internal ESD protection diodes and if the current gets high you will damage them …

Hi Jody, Are you using pull up or pull down resistors on the logic input? It would be worth changing the resistor value if you are. Note for the ADG441, when the logic is low the SPST switch should be on. Also worth testing using a DC signal at first …

In the datasheet Figure 7 ADG441/ADG442/ADG444 (Rev. B) (analog.com) Leakage current is almost proportional to VS(VD). The X axis is the voltage level of VS(VD), not VS-VD or VD-VS, right? Does this almost proportional relation between leakage current and VS(VD) applies to …
