Hi Mark, The ADM208EARZ may be an option. This is a pin compatible device with ESD hardened RS-232 pins up to 15kV. I'm not that familiar with test methods for ESD type issues. The only way I can think over verifying this is to zap the RS-232 …

Hello. We are considering the use of the ADM3061E half-duplex transceiver with a 3v3 Vcc on a new product design (to replace the ISL3175 xcvr). May we know the difference between the ADM3061EA vs. ADM3061EB versions ? Unable to locate supporting documents that identify the versions. Thanks.

The ADM706TARZ is powered from a local +5v switching regulator with the PFI pin connected via voltage divider to the +28v supply that powers the board (+VIN). @PowerUP there is some delay(engineering term) for the +5v to come up after the +28v is applied. So the voltage at the …

Fil, Thanks for the reply, but I think you misread the question. At no point is the max rating of 6.3v exceeded, but only the spec of Vcc + 0.3v for about 40 mSec until the +5V supply comes up. It is already a voltage divider (12.1k/87 …

Fil, Thanks for the reply, but I think you misread the question. At no point does the PFI voltage exceed the max rating of 6.3v. But does exceed the spec of Vcc +0.3 until the 5V supply comes up. Which is about 40mSec after power is applied to …
