I'm using AD584JNZ as a 5.0V Reference. According to the data sheet Rev.C on page 6 of 12, for 5.0V out connect pins 1 and 2 together. I've Spiced the circuit with pins 1 and 2 connected. I get 10V out. If I connect pins …

Hello everyone, I am creating a comparator circuit which will take a triangle wave and turn it into a square wave. Now, for my Vref, I do not have a fix input. I have it adjustable in the sense that it is a DAC (Schematic is attached). This will allow …

… a sign magnitude converter, similar to Figure 6 of the AD7545A datasheet (https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/AD7545A.pdf). For that I need an AD7592JN CMOS switch. It seems as if the AD7592JN is obsolete now; which (active) part can be used to replace it?

Hi Kazu, Based on the timing specifications, it should be around 1.3 MSps for Ta= 0 to 70C, VDD=5V since you need two consecutive parallel writes to update the DAC register. Can you share some information if you are considering this part for a new design? This is …

Hi Anna, I also simulated in Multisim. It makes a big difference when you connect pin 4 to ground. That was my problem, I simply forgot to connect the ground pin. Thank you, David

Hi, David. Overlooking the ground connection is a usual problem but I think this will be a great lesson that ground is as important as the other pins. Glad I helped you. Regards, Anna
