      Hi, The AD537 is a voltage or current to frequency converter. In order to produce a stable frequency you need to have a stable and consistent current to drive the AD537. The frequency will change whenever there is a change in voltage or frequency. That means for example you wanted …

      I purchased an AD549JHZ chip, but testing revealed that its pin 8 is not connected to the case. However, the case is connected to the negative power supply pin. This is contrary to the information provided in the datasheet. Is this configuration correct?
