Hello Dragos, I have one more question that i would like to ask, regarding the TX and RX filters. I can see in the AD9361 manual that there are 2 paths with filters, one for the TX and one for the RX.In the main.c example there is a …

Manos, You can generate a custom configuration for the digital filters (HB and FIR) using the MATLAB Filter Design Wizard for AD9361 (MATLAB Filter Design Wizard for AD9361 [Analog Devices Wiki]). The corner frequency for the TX/RX BB LPF and secondary LPF filters is programmed with the ad9361_set …

Hello Dragos, Below I am going to explain you what I do. Let's say I want to send the hex value . I assume a two complement's representation with 2 binary digits to the left of the binary point. The hex value in binary format is 1111 0110 0100 …

Hello Dragos, I dont expect to get the exact same values on the receiver, but the point is how % would an affordable difference be between the transmitted and the received data? Moreover, i dont know if it is a good idea to change the gain from the default(SLOW ATTACK …

George, What you are seeing is perfectly normal. There is not a direct connection between the DAC and the ADC: the data is transmitted and received through RF. The gain of almost all the blocks from the RX path is variable. In AGC mode, the part compares the received signal …

Manos, You don't have to change the gain control mode. You wondered how the amplitude of the received signal can be increased, so I gave you an example (to manually control the gain of the receiver). Your received sine signal looks good if the default settings were used. Regards …

Hello Dragos, I think we are a bit confused, so lets try to clarify things a bit. First of all, can you clarify to ous what the sine_lut table represents in float format? Correct me if iam wrong, but we believe that it is a sinewave around 0 with …
