    4. AD-FMCOMMS4-EBZ
      Evaluation Board & Kit
The AD-FMCOMMS4-EBZ provides software developers and system architect with a single 1 x 1 transceiver platform that can be software-configured for wideband tuning as well as narrowband RF performance. In the wideband configuration, the AD-FMCOMMS4-EBZ will operate over the full 70 MHz to 6 GHz tuning range of the AD9364, however, the RF performance expectations of this configuration must be tempered with the very wide band front end. It will …

    5. AD-FMCOMMS6-EBZ
      Evaluation Board & Kit
The AD-FMCOMMS6-EBZ eval board is a 400MHz to 4.4GHz receiver based on the AD9652 dual 16bit analog to digital converter, the ADL5566 High Dynamic Range RF/IF Dual Differential Amplifier and the ADL5380 quadrature demodulator. This is an I and Q demodulation approach to direct convert (also known as a homodyne or zero IF) receiver architecture. Direct conversion radios perform just one frequency translation compared to a super-heterodyne receiver that can …

Manos, You can generate a custom configuration for the digital filters (HB and FIR) using the MATLAB Filter Design Wizard for AD9361 (MATLAB Filter Design Wizard for AD9361 [Analog Devices Wiki]). The corner frequency for the TX/RX BB LPF and secondary LPF filters is programmed with the ad9361_set …

Hello Dragos, I dont expect to get the exact same values on the receiver, but the point is how % would an affordable difference be between the transmitted and the received data? Moreover, i dont know if it is a good idea to change the gain from the default(SLOW ATTACK …

George, What you are seeing is perfectly normal. There is not a direct connection between the DAC and the ADC: the data is transmitted and received through RF. The gain of almost all the blocks from the RX path is variable. In AGC mode, the part compares the received signal …

Manos, You don't have to change the gain control mode. You wondered how the amplitude of the received signal can be increased, so I gave you an example (to manually control the gain of the receiver). Your received sine signal looks good if the default settings were used. Regards …
