Product Details
The MAX2081600D evaluation kit (EV kit) is a fully assembled and tested surface-mount daughter board that contains all the components necessary to evaluate the MAX20816 when plugged into a compatible main board.
The MAX20816 is a PMBus™-compatible, multiphase voltage regulator controller for low-voltage high-current AI applications. This dual-loop controller supports 16 phases in total, with independent pulse-width modulated (PWM) control signals and current-sense signals. Phase configuration for each output rail is set using PMBus to match the configuration of the main board. The IC is packaged in a 56-pin, 7mm x 7mm TQFN.
Windows® based graphical-user interface (GUI) software is available for use with the EV kit and can be downloaded from the Evaluation Hardware & Software page on the Analog Devices website under the Evaluation & Development Platforms section. Windows 10 or a newer Windows operating system is required to use the EV kit software.
