Product Details
This adapter is for use on UART targets powered at 3V to 5.5V. It consists of a small PCB included in a 1.5m long cable to provide easy interface from a standard PC COM port to the UART of the ADuC8xx and ADuC7xxx evaluation boards that have UART capability. It can be used for download, debug and general purpose communication via UART. It is based on an ADM3202 RS232 interface device. It provides an alternate to the 4-wire UART–to–PC interface as described in UC-006.For devices with I2C or LIN download capability, use USB-I2C/LIN-CONV-Z.
