Product Details
The EV-ADF5611SD1Z evaluates the performance of the ADF5611 frequency synthesizer with an integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) for phase-locked loops (PLLs). A photograph of the EV-ADF5611SD1Z evaluation board is shown in Figure 1 in the user guide. The EVADF5611SD1Z contains the ADF5611 frequency synthesizer with an integrated VCO, a USB interface, power supply connectors, an on-board reference oscillator, and Subminiature Version A (SMA) connectors. The outputs of the EV-ADF5611SD1Z are AC-coupled with 50Ω transmission lines making them suitable to drive 50Ω impedance instruments.
The EV-ADF5611SD1Z requires an EVAL-SDP-CK1Z controller board (not supplied with the kit). The SDP-K1 allows software programming of theEV-ADF5611SD1Z with Analog Devices, Inc., ACE software.
Full specifications for the ADF5611 frequency synthesizer are available in the ADF5611 data sheet, which must be consulted in conjunction with this user guide when working with the EVADF5611SD1Z evaluation board.
