Product Details

The Linux Add-In for ADSP-SC5xx provides users with the open, flexible world of Linux coupled with the world-class integrated development environment (IDE) of Analog Devices CrossCore Embedded Studio.

The Linux Add-In for ADSP-SC5xx includes pre-built images that allow users to easily deploy a highly configured Bootloader, Kernel and filesystem on to the ADSP-SC589, ADSP-SC584 and ADSP-SC573 EZ-Kit, providing users with application level access to the peripherals available on the EZ-Kit. Supported drivers include USB, SPORT, I2C, Link Port, SPDIF, CAN, SD Card and Ethernet.  Sources for the Kernel and file system are also provided and are easily re-configurable for user developed hardware.

Linux Add-In for ADSP-SC5xx

Please be aware that the supported versions of the EZ-KITs has changed with the 1.3.0 release of the Linux Add-In. Please refer to the Release Note for more information.

Software Development Kit

CrossCore Embedded Studio (Rev 2.8.3)

This release of the Linux Add-In is only compatible with CrossCore Embedded Studio version 2.8.3. Newer versions of CrossCore Embedded Studio are not compatible with this version of the Linux Add-In.

Operating Systems and Middleware

Analog Devices, in collaboration with several Alliance partners, provides the following operating system and middleware offerings to enable a user-friendly programming environment for applications developed using the Blackfin® and SHARC® processor families. These real-time kernels and services software seamlessly integrate with CrossCore® Embedded Studio.
