Digital Switching Selects References for 4 Different Thermocouples; <±0.8°C Reference Temperature Error for 5° to 45°C Ambient Range

Model 2B56 corrects the analog signal derived from a thermocouple (TC) for the error due to non-zero temperature at the reference junction. It does so by deriving a correction signal from the output of a user-supplied electrically insulated sensor at the same temperature as the reference junction, and combining it with the thermocouple's output signal. Read full article
