MAX2585
Advanced Multimode Complete RF-to-Baseband Receiver
Industry's First 2-Chip Solution for Dual-Band North America CDMA with Integrated PAs
Part Details
The MAX2585 highly integrated RF-to-baseband receiver addresses multiband, multimode applications by providing switched signal paths for cellular AMPS, cellular CDMA, and PCS CDMA.
The MAX2585 includes an LNA, mixer, baseband filter, PLL, VGA, and AMPS-grade RF VCO. The entire receiver eliminates most of the external components found in other receivers including the IF-SAW filters and multiband VCOs.
To optimize dynamic range at minimum current, the MAX2585 implements several programmable gain and linearity states, each optimized for minimum current while meeting sensitivity and linearity requirements for as many as four ranges of received signal strength. The MAX2585 is available in a 7mm x 7mm, leadless 48-fcLGA package and is specified over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
Applications
- AMPS, IS95, OFDM
- Dual-Band, Multimode PCS/Cellular Mobile Devices
- IS-2000 1xEV, EV-DO, and EV-DV
