Product Details

The EV-CATTLETAG-ARDZ is an Arduino board with a fully integrated solution for harvesting energy from single-/multi-cell solar sources. The device includes battery chargers for small lithium-ion systems, and a digital temperature sensor for applications such as Wearables and IoT. The board has an on-board MAX20335 BMS device, a MAX30210 temperature sensor, and a buzzer with a vibration motor option.

Product Details

The MAX20361 evaluation kit (EV kit) is a fully assembled and tested PCB that evaluates the MAX20361 single/ multi-cell solar harvester with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) and harvest counter. The EV kit features a Pmod™ connector, allowing the USB2PMB2 adapter board to provide I2C interface.

The EV kit features an on-board adjustable current source and a monocrystalline solar cell to generate input current to the IC. It also features a supercapacitor and resistor load to evaluate the integrated charger of the MAX20361. The EV kit includes load current monitoring circuitry for convenient sensing of the MAX20361 output current.

The EV kit software controls the USB2PMB2 adapter board over the USB, which generates I2C commands. The EV kit ships with jumpers installed and supply volt- ages set to typical operating values.
