The MAX14583E is an independently controlled high-density 8:2 multiplexer. The device conducts in either direction and supports signal levels from -5.5V to +5.5V. The input voltage is protected from 0 to +5.5V when the device is not powered.
The device features an I²C serial interface allowing the microprocessor to control the switch paths. The device has high-ESD protection up to ±8kV Human Body Model (HBM) to GND on AA and BA.
The device is specified over the extended -40°C to +85°C temperature range, and is available in a 16-bump WLP (1.68mm x 1.68mm, 0.4mm ball pitch) package.
