Product Details

Demonstration circuit SCP-LT8410-EVALZ is an Ultralow Power Boost Converter with Output Disconnect featuring the LT8410. The demo circuit converts a 3V–10V source to 16V/1.6mA at 3Vin.

Like all boards in the Signal Chain Power series, this board is designed to be easily plugged into other SCP boards to form a complete signal chain power system, enabling fast evaluation of low power signal chains. To evaluate this board, some universal SCP hardware is required, namely:

  • SCP-INPUT-EVALZ
  • SCP-OUTPUT-EVALZ
  • SCP-FILTER-EVALZ
  • SCP-THRUBRD-EVALZ
  • SCP-1X2BKOUT-EVALZ

To properly evaluate SCP series demo boards, you will need the SCP Configurator companion software. SCP Configurator can help you choose the right board and topology for your design.

Note that the Demo Manual does not cover details important to the operation and configuration regarding the LT8410. Please refer to the LT8410 datasheet for a complete description of the part.

Demonstration circuits 1387A-A and A-B are Ultralow Power Boost Converters with Output Disconnect featuring the LT8410 and LT8410-1. Both versions convert a 3V-10V source. The -A version supplies 1.6mA at 3VIN and the -B supplies 0.5mA.


Both versions feature a low noise variable off-time and variable peak current control scheme, integrated Schottky diode and output disconnect function, ultralow quiescent current, built-in soft-start and overvoltage protection.

Features and Benefits

The CN0537 reference design includes a complete data and software offering designed to accelerate smoke/fire detection application development.

The Data (EVAL-CN0537-DATA) package provides an extensive (1000+) smoke dataset taken at UL-217 certified facilities for those who wish to develop their own algorithm. It includes the CN0537 source code for initialization, calibration, environmental compensation, data pre-processing - but excludes the detection algorithm.

The Algorithm (EVAL-CN0537-ALGO) package includes everything in the Data package and adds a UL certified smoke detection algorithm and associated algorithm project files.
