ADI BUILDS HOMES FOR LOCAL FAMILIES

Analog Devices teams in Massachusetts contributed four day long builds to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell in 2021. This marks the seventh year that ADI has volunteered with the organization. The house, located at 930 Main Street in Concord, MA, is a three-bedroom ranch currently under renovation to become a duplex home for two families.
Employees from the CTO and Human Resources business units, summer interns, and members of both the People of Color and Allies Network (POCAN) and the Young Professionals Network (YPN) hammered, sawed, and sweated their way through builds during July, September, and October 2021.

Habitat for Humanity’s mission is creating affordable homeownership with a hand up, not a hand out. Partner Families are required to put in sweat equity hours working on their homes, attending financial training classes and volunteering at the Habitat ReStore. When their homes are complete, each family will pay an affordable, no-interest mortgage, which allows for building other affordable houses for local families. This build’s beneficiaries, the McCarthys and the Champions, are the 50th and 51st partner families in the Greater Lowell program.
