We describe here a graphite calorimeter for measuring absorbed dose produced by ionizing radiation. Besides ease of use, an important feature of such a device is the high-resolution differential thermometer—employing precision thermistors—used for calorimetric measurements of temperature rise of a graphite target when subjected to radiation dosages. Read full article
