Product Details

The EVAL-AD5460ARDZ is a fully-featured evaluation board that a user can use to evaluate the features of the AD5460 as a full system solution. Power is provided by the MAX17691B isolated flyback solution. Digital channels isolation utilizes the MAX14483 isolator.

The AD5460 is a quad-channel, software-configurable analog output device. The device has functionality for analog output and thermocouple with a compatible serial-peripheral interface (SPI).

A user can control the EVAL-AD5460ARDZ by a system demonstration platform (SDP) board. The EVAL-SDP-CK1Z (SDP-K1) board allows the EVAL-AD5460ARDZ to be controlled by the USB port of a PC using the AD5460 ACE software. The EVALAD5460ARDZ requires an operating supply of 24V. The PC provides power to the EVAL-SDP-CK1Z (SDP-K1) board.

Full specifications on the AD5460, MAX17691B, and MAX14483 are available in the corresponding data sheets available from Analog Devices, Inc., and must be consulted with this user guide when using the EVAL-AD5460ARDZ board.
