ADL5386 Evaluation Board

Product Details

ADL5386-EVALZ is 4-layer, FR4-based evaluation board. For normal operation, it requires a 5 V/300 mA power supply and the 5 V power supply should be connected to the clip leads labeled VPOS and GND. The LO and baseband inputs (which should be biased at 0.5 V) are applied to edge-mounted SMA-type RF connectors (labeled LO, IP, IN, QP, and QN). The IQ modulator output can be configured to drive the ADL5386's VVA block. Alternatively, the IQ modulator's output can be accessed directly at the SMA connector labeled VMOD. An AGC mode can be implemented using the on-board log detector/controller. DC voltage proportional to die temperature is available at the clip leads labeled TEMP.
