The ADV7197 is a triple high-speed digital-to-analog converter for HDTV video from Analog Devices.
The ADV7197 converts any YCrCb HDTV video standard into analog component HDTV video compatible with EIA770.3. The ADV7197 also allows 4:4:4 RGB input with RS-170/RS343-A compatible outputs.
The ADV7197 consists of three 11-Bit DACs capable of a current output of 4.33 mA and 2.66 mA.
Programmable features include a cross hatch test pattern generator, a uniform field/frame test pattern generator, Luma delay, Chroma delay and VBI.
The ADV7197 modes are set up over a serial bi-directional I2C port.
The ADV7197 is packaged in a 52-pin PQFP and requires a +5V or +3.3V supply.
Applications suitable for the ADV7197 are HDTV display devices or projection systems. Digital Video Systems, High Resolution Color Graphics, Image Processing, Instrumentation.
