The ADV7195 is a triple high speed digital to analog encoder for High Definition video from Analog Devices. The ADV7195 converts any YCrCb High Definition video standard into analog component High Definition video compatible with EIA770.1, EIA770.2 and EIA770.3. It is also possible to input RGB data in 4:4:4 format, the RGB outputs being RS170 and RS343A compatible.
The ADV7195 consists of three 11-Bit DACs capable of a current output of 4.33 mA and 2.66 mA.
Programmable features include a cross hatch test pattern generator, a uniform field/frame test pattern generator, Luma delay, Chroma delay, Gamma Correction, VBI and an undershoot limiter.
Furthermore a Sharpness filter with programmable gain or attenuation and a programmable Adaptive Filter are available.
The ADV7195 modes are set up over a serial bi-directional I2C® port.
The ADV7195 is packaged in a 52-pin PQFP and requires +3.3 V supply.
Applications suitable for the ADV7195 are Progressive Scan or HDTV display devices or projection systems and DVD players, Digital Video Systems, High Resolution Color Graphics, Image Processing, Instrumentation, Digital Radio Modulation and Video Signal Reconstruction.
