Tools & Simulations

ADIsimRF

ADIsimRF is an easy-to-use RF signal chain calculator. Cascaded gain, noise, distortion and power consumption can be calculated, plotted and exported for signal chains with up to 50 stages. ADIsimRF also includes an extensive data base of device models for ADI’s RF and mixed signal components.

Open Tool

ADIsimPLL™

ADIsimPLL enables the rapid and reliable evaluation of new high performance PLL products from ADI. It is the most comprehensive PLL Synthesizer design and simulation tool available today. Simulations performed include all key non-linear effects that are significant in affecting PLL performance. ADIsimPLL removes at least one iteration from the design process, thereby speeding the design- to-market.

ADF4150HV Evaluation Board

Product Details

The Eval-ADF4150HVEB1Z is a fully populated, 4-layers evaluation board which allows evaluation of the ADF4150HV high voltage, fractional-N PLL synthesizer.

The board contains 25 MHz TCXO working as reference signal and a VCO covering octave frequency range from 1 GHz to 2 GHz. VCO output and RF outputs are connected to edge-mounted SMA connectors, which allows easy connection to a spectrum analyzer. For normal operation it requires two external supplies (30 V / 40 mA for VCO and 5 V / 180 mA for the rest of the board).

The ADF4150HV evaluation board software controls the operation of the ADF4150HV evaluation board from a PC over a USB port. The software installation program is available on the CD attached to evaluation kit. The software has to be installed before connecting the board to the PC and it will be available under Programs -> Analog Devices -> ADF4150HV.
