AD1959
ObsoletePLL / Multibit Sigma-Delta DAC
Part Details
The AD1959 is the first audio PLLDAC to achieve <100 psec of jitter and 108 dB dynamic range in a one-chip solution.
It provides all the clocks and performance needed for DVD and set-top box applications. The AD1959 provides 3 clock outputs: a buffered 27 MHz, a 33.868 MHz clock CD-DSP, and a programmable 256/384/512/768 Fs clock. These clock outputs are used to drive the video encoder, CD-DSP (or Servos), and additional audio DACs respectively.
The AD1959 also offers DAC performance of 108 dB Dynamic Range and -94 dB THD+N, while supporting up to 192 kHz sample rates. Therefore, the AD1959 offers a system solution for saving cost while maintaining high performance.
